Intern 2

Hi, again it's been pretty busy today. I just get in the office when we were sent to MacArthur golf course for the Hook a kid on golf. The program basically teaches children of the sport of golf and the benefits of playing the game. I never really thought that children so young would find this sport interesting but after speaking to a few they express how much fun it is and how they would like to return. Altogether it was a nice experience the mosquitoes make this job very difficult. So, after filming and taking some interviews, we all left to pass out some fliers for East Chicago's Film in the park. Once we finished, we return back only to be sent back on location again. Like I said busy day. This time we when to EC Central for the registration day which is happening all this week. At first the report was to be something small just as a reminder of registration but it didn't end up that way. We were able to meet the new principal of Central and learned a little about him. We also learned of the new technology that will help parents keep track of their child's actions in school. So, over all it was an unexpected find. Lucky after all this we were able to go back and I finished the day with just did some paper work. So again a lot to do today but I was happy doing it. You know minus the bugs. But now that I'm finishing this internship, I really do appreciate all the opportunities I been given in this job and I hope that I don't mess up to bad these last few days.
